MR31 (Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine)

This induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) line was generated from the human lung fibroblast line IMR90 that was transduced, using lentiviral vectors, with three reprogramming factors: OCT4, SOX2, and KLF4 . Cells express pluripotent markers and differentiate into all three germ layers, in both in-vitro and in-vivo settings. Cells have a normal karyotype, 46 XX.

Cells are cultured in KnockOut DMEM supplemented with KnockOut Serum (20%), nonessential amino acids (NEAA, X1), L-glutamine (X1),  β-mercaptoethanol (0.1 mM), and basic fibroblast growth factor (10 ng/ml).
