SHEF-4 (UK Stem Cell Bank)

The cell line was derived from a thawed eight-cell embryo donated on day 3 of culture, by patients undergoing fertility treatments. Cells were derived from zona pellucida-free blastocysts and acquired a normal karyotype, 46 XY.

Isolation & Growth Conditions

Cells are maintained on inactivated MEF feeder cells.
