Dissociated embryonic kidney tissue cells (EK cells) (University of Florence)

Dissociated embryonic kidney tissue cells are extracted from human embryonic kidneys (8.5-17 wk from gestation), minced and digested with collagenase IV .


Collect and check renal suspensions for simultaneous expression of CD133 and CD24, by flow cytometry. Perform MACS without plating.
