Dental pulp stem cells (Hasselt University)

Dental pulp stem cells were isolated from third molar teeth of donors undergoing tooth extraction procedures.

Dental pulp stem cells were isolated from dental pulp tissue, using the explant method. Cells were cultured in minimal essential medium, α-modification (αMEM), supplemented with  fetal bovine serum (FBS, 10%),  L-glutamine (2 mM),  penicillin (100 U/ml), and  streptomycin (100 µg/ml).
