Chondrogenic differentiation using articular chondrocytes as feeder cells

Co-culture of human embryonic stem cells with primary articular chondrocytes improves chondrogenic differentiation when compared to direct differentiation. Also, the use of 3D pellet culture is shown to be more efficient than differentiation on scaffold.
