Stepwise generation of polyhormonal insulin-producing cells from stem cells

This is a stepwise protocol for the generation of polyhormonal insulin-producing cells from embryonic stem cells using specific growth factors. The differentiated cells are polyhormonal (expressing at least two the following three hormones: insulin, glucagon and somatostatin) and form islet-like clusters.
