Hb9::GFP genetically modified tail-tip fibroblasts were isolated from Hb9::GFP transgenic adult mice.
The bottom third of the mouse tail was minced and digested in trypsin (2.5 mg/ml) to create single-cell suspensions. Tail-tip fibroblasts were cultured in mouse embryonic fibroblast medium (MEF) consisting of Dulbecco’s modified Eagle’s medium (DMEM) containing fetal bovine serum (FBS, 10%), β-mercaptoethanol, non-essential amino acids, sodium pyruvate and penicillin/streptomycin.
