Microarray analysis of peripheral blood from major depressive episode patients

Gene expression profile of peripheral blood samples collected from major depressive episode (MDE) patients (n=9) and from healthy control subjects (n=9). Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) were obtained at two time points: during a severe episode of depression and eight weeks later, after clinical remission. Samples obtained after clinical remission were not included in LifeMap analysis.
