Eurexpress is built upon information derived from the developing mouse on embryonic day 14.5 and is the first genome-wide transcriptome atlas derived by RNA in situ hybridization (ISH) of an entire mammalian organism. The database includes anatomy-based expression profiles for over 18,000 coding genes and over 400 microRNAs. In the LifeMap database, only genes with non-homogenous staining patterns and medium to high staining intensity are presented.
