Microarray gene expression profiling of skeletal muscle tissue obtained from spastic cerebral palsy patients.
Skeletal muscle biopsies from both the gracilis and semitendinosus were obtained during surgery from cerebral palsy patients (n=10) undergoing medial hamstring lengthening and from the control group (n=10) of pediatric patients undergoing ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) reconstructive surgery of the knee.
