Laviv azficel-T, dermal fibroblasts for scarring

Azficel-T is an autologous cellular product composed of fibroblasts. The product is indicated for improvement of the appearance of vocal cord, burn and acne scars. Dermal fibroblasts from post-auricular skin biopsy tissue are aseptically expanded using standard tissue-culture procedures. Azficel-T improves acne scar appearance. Treatment improves both objective measures of vocal fold function (mucosal waves) and subjective subject-reported outcomes. The product has been shown to be well-tolerated.
