Umbilical cord blood stem cells for treatment of critical limb ischemia

The study aims to test whether treatment with umbilical cord blood hematopoietic stem cells (UC-HSCs) can improve blood flow to the most severely affected leg of critical limb ischemia patients with medically refractory and nonoperable peripheral vascular disease of the lower extremity.
