Cultivated limbal stem cells for treatment of limbal stem cell deficiency

The aim of this study is to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and long-term outcomes of intra-corneal transplantation of autologous human limbal stem cells (LSCs), after being cultured ex-vivo on amniotic membranes, to achieve corneal surface reconstruction in cases of partial and severe limbal stem cell deficiency.
