Bone marrow-derived hematopoietic stem cells for spinal cord injury

Autologous bone marrow-derived hematopoietic stem cells are administered via several routes to treat spinal cord injury. Treatment is feasible and safe and induced significant restoration of movement, sensation, and bladder function in patients suffering from a spinal cord injury.
