492B4 (RIKKEN BioResource Center)

This induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) line was generated, without retrovirus vectors, from embryonic fibroblasts using an adenovirus-mediated gene delivery system for the transient transduction of four factors: OCT3/4, SOX2, KLF4 and c-MYC. The cells do not integrate the exogene and express GFP under the NANOG promoter (Nanog-GFP-IRES-Puro resistance).

Cultured on feeder cells (irradiated SNL 76/7) in DMEM (high glucose, without sodium pyruvate) supplemented with FBS (15%), NEAA (0.1mM), 2-mercaptoethanol (0.1mM) and mouse LIF (1000U/ml).
