Generation of cardiomyocyte from stem cells by modulating Wnt/b-catenin signaling
This 4-step protocol allows for efficient and robust generation of cardiomyocytes from human pluripotent stem cells, by pretreatment with ROCK inhibitor and then induction of differentiation by removal of insulin and modulation of Wnt/b-catenin signaling. The induced cells are functional and express markers typical of cardiomyocytes.
