Large Scale Dataset: Barcode U133 Plus 2.0

The Barcode database provides gene expression information about 18656 mouse samples from 131 different normal and cancerous cells/tissues obtained pre- or postnatally. Only the normal samples are linked to LifeMap entities. All samples were hybridized to the Affymetrix human U133plus2 (GPL570) microarray platform.

Barcode uses an algorithm that leverages information from the GEO public repository to build a list of tissue-specific genes. In the LifeMap database, only genes appear in more than 3 different tissues are listed. For more information, please refer to the Barcode website.
