Bld.PrB.MnctCs

Monocytes are a type of leukocytes (white blood cells) that are produced in the bone marrow, circulate in the peripheral blood and migrate into tissues in response to immune cues. Common features of monocytes are their big kidney-shaped size and their notched nucleus. Monocytes give rise to macrophages and dendritic cells.
