Brachial Lateral Motor Column

SpC.BrLMC
The brachial lateral motor column is the lateral motor column (LMC) located at brachial spinal levels. The brachial LMC sends axons into the forelimb mesenchyme. At forelimb levels, motor neurons axons extending from the C5-T1 segments join to form the brachial plexus.

In the cervical part of the spinal cord, motor neuron axons extending from segments C1-C5, join to form the cervical plexus (motor neurons that innervate the biceps and extensor carpi radialis muscles are located at c3/c4 segments, for example).
