Median Motor Neurons (MMC)


SpC.MMC.MMCs
Median motor neurons are a set of motor neurons arrayed in longitudinal columns within the median motor column (MMC). These neurons project to distinct regions in the periphery. MMC neurons can be divided into a medial group, which is found at all rostrocaudal levels and projects to dorsal axial muscles, and a lateral group, found only at thoracic levels and projects to body wall muscles.
