Limb Tendons and Ligaments

Tnd.LTL
Limb tendons connect the limb muscles to both the limb bones and to the vertebral column, enabling transmission of the force generated by limb muscles to the bones, thereby ensuring proper movement of the limbs, including extension, rotation and flexion. Limb ligaments are associated with limb joints and function both to stabilize the joints and to define their degree of freedom and movement. Some of these ligaments are considered to be some of the strongest ligaments in the body.
