Dental Pulp

Tth.DnPlp
The dental pulp (DnPlp) is the part in the center of a tooth made up of connective tissue and cells termed odontoblasts. The dental pulp is a part of the dentin–pulp complex (endodontium), whose primary function is to form dentin (by the activity of the odontoblasts). During the lifespan of a tooth (postnatal- deciduous –permanent stages) the DnPlp is a source for dental stem cells.
