Chondrocell™, bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells for osteoarthritis

Chondrocell™ is comprised of bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells for the treatment of osteoarthritis. Treated patients benefit from pain relief and greater mobility. Imaging studies show healing of the cartilage defect as early as 6 weeks post-implantation and complete healing within 12-24 weeks. The effects are long-lasting and the need for joint replacements could be deferred.
