The stem cells are extracted from the patient's fat tissue and activated by a specialized low laser light.
100-200cc of adipose tissue is harvested from the patient and subjected to enzyme dissolution, using collagenase type I solution (100 U/ml) under agitation for 1 hour at 37oC. Adipose tissue is then centrifuged twice at 300 g for 30 minutes in order to separate the stromal vascular fraction (SVF) (pellet) from adipocytes. The pellets are then treated with red lysis buffer. The SVF pellet is resuspended in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) and washed twice. The final pellet is resuspended in patient serum (10%) in PBS. A volume of DMSO solution is gradually added to reach final concentrations of DMSO (10%) and Haes-steril 200 (2%) in the final volume.
