Bone marrow-derived ALDH+ cells (ALD) (Cytomedix, Inc)

ALD are bone marrow cells with high aldehyde dehydrogenase expression, which can be separated upon their exposure to a chemical compound that specifically accumulates in cells with high ALDH levels.  The resulting emission of green florescence can be detected by a cell sorting device.
