HB9::GFP genetically modified stem cells (Harvard University)

This cell line was obtained by introducing, via electroporation,  a plasmid containing the coding sequence of green fluorescent protein under control of a murine Hb9 promoter into HuES-3 human embryonic stem cells.


Maintain cells on a feeder layer of inactivated mouse embryonic fibroblasts in human ESC media: KODMEM, supplemented with KO Serum Replacement (10%), penicillin (10,000 units), streptomycin (1mg/ml), glutamine (2 mM), nonessential amino acids (100 mM), beta-mercaptoethanol (55uM), Plasmanate (10%, Bayer), bFGF (10 ng/ml, GIBCO). Culture cells at 37C and 5% CO2.
