HUF4 (Stanford University)

This line of induced pluripotent stem cells was generated from adult dermal fibroblasts using lentiviral transduction of OCT3/4, SOX2, KLF4, and c-MYC. Cells express pluripotency genes.


Cells are cultured on mouse embryonic fibroblasts in knockout Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium supplemented with knockout serum replacement (KSR, 20%), L-glutamine (2 mM), nonessential amino acids (NEAA, 0.1 mM), β-mercaptoethanol (0.1 mM), and basic FGF (10 ng/ml).
