Blimp1- mVenus and stella-ECFP genetically modified stem cells (RIKKEN Kobe institute)

This transgenic stem cell line is derived from E3.5 mice blastocysts bearing Blimp1-mVenus and stella-ECFP (BVSC) transgenes. This double transgenic reporter mouse strain and stem cell-derived line expresses membrane-targeted Venus (mVenus), a yellow fluorescent protein (YFP) variant, under the control of the Prdm1 (Blimp1) regulatory element and enhanced cyan fluorescent protein (ECFP) under the control of Dppa3 (Stella/Pgc7).


ES cells are maintained in knockout DMEM with L-glutamine (2 mM), MEM non-essential amino acids (X1), nucleosides (X1), b-mercaptoethanol (X1), LIF (1000 units/ml), and FBS (20%), under feeder-free conditions.
