Cardiomyocytes derivation from human embryonic stem cells by a small-molecule Wnt inhibitor
Human embryonic stem cells, infected with mCherry reporter under MYH6 promoter, are used to test cardiomyocyte differentiation. The IWR (inhibitor of WNT response) compound successfully induces cardiomyocyte differentiation in the absence of other signaling modulators. MYH6 promoter activity can be used to evaluate cardiomyocyte differentiation.
