Generation of motor neurons to study the effect of neurotoxins

This protocol describes a method for generation of motor neuron-like cells to form a cell-based model for examination of the botulinum neurotoxin effect. This cell culture model will also enable large-scale screenings to identify and evaluate the biological efficacy of novel therapeutics.
