Pancreatic Endothelial Cells (PVFE)

GtT.PVFE.PnECs
The Angioblasts migrating to the foregut endoderm and populate the emerging endodermal structures of the pancreatic buds. They eventually form the blood-vessels of the mature pancreas. Extensive mutual signaling between the endothelial cells and the pancreatic epithelium and mesenchyme participate in the regulation of pancreas development.

The exact developmental origin of pancreatic endothelium is still unknown.
